U.S. Foreign Policy and International Relations

Here you can find general information on U.S. policy:

Other primary sources of information about U.S. Foreign Policy

  • www.america.gov - produced for an international audience by the State Department's Office of International Information Programs. For U.S. foreign policy information by region and country, read here.
  • http://www.state.gov - the main page of the U.S. Department of State
  • http://www.uspolicy.be - this site is produced and maintained by the Public Affairs section of the U.S. Embassy in Brussels. It includes very useful "dossiers" on issues of particular interest (see links on the left side of this page). Each dossier contains current and major U.S. government policy statements on the issue, as well as selected non-USG documents and articles.
  • In addition to the portal sites mentioned above, virtually every U.S. government agency that is involved in international affairs has its own website - a list of these agencies, with links to their websites, can be found at FirstGov, the U.S. Government's Official Web Portal.
